Yes, the dog's name is Mulan. Her owner said so. I've never seen such an earnest and dignified looking dog. Hindi sa kanya yung pulang bag ha.

Comfort food

When you feel bad (and your country is in this vile political mess), what food or drink would cheer you up? Bebert mentioned Cheez Whiz and Moo Fries. I have a long list but I'll start with the pictures I have: watermelons and coffee. Wala akong picture ng longganisa, chicharon at chocnut eh. =)

Sunken garden

The Sunken Garden normally buzzes with activity. This morning it was still, quiet, green, and pretty.

Not just boxing

Gathered the nerve to come up to this group and ask permission to take pictures. The boxing instructors gladly said yes. They were teaching a group of street kids boxing for free. Guess what? They're ballroom dancing teachers, too. I never thought boxing and dancing could ever go together. =)

When you're blue...

A ride in a handsome jeep with great company wouldn't be bad at all. Pero dapat may aircon (chichirya at inumin na rin). Mainit masyado pag ganto ;p

Water lilies

I always thought water lilies were white. So when I went to the UP lagoon, I got this scarlet surprise. Checked the encyclopedia which said "water lilies have white, yellow, pink, red, scarlet, blue or purple flowers."
