Starin' at the stairs
This spiral staircase is at the office where I work. But I hardly ever use it since it’s at the special facilities block, quite far from my workstation. But when I do use it, I always go to the narrow side to save energy – smaller steps required. Gawain ng tamad.
I’m a very frequent commuter and when at the MRT station, I always use the stairs. One time I was running late (in fact I always am late), my right shoe came hopping down the stairs. Yikes. I was still lucky, though, because it didn’t go that far, and it was only my shoe that came falling down, and not me! Suwerte pa rin talaga. =)Although I have to admit, I'm not always in the mood for taking the stairs, especially after a hard day. I end up staring (often glaring) at the stairs, then head for the nearest escalator or elevator. Ayos ;p
Hit by a tsunami
O diba ang gaganda at gaguwapo nila? Artistahin good looks, creative minds and courageous hearts [read: makapal? =)]. These folks are my Baddicts Tsunamis team mates. Too bad though that not everyone in the team, myself included, is in the photo. There are 28 members and I am so proud of each one. Apparently I'm beaming with pride and joy for being part of the Tsunamis despite being the second to the last team in terms of points earned. What really matters is how well the team cooperated and how all members enjoyed each other's company, warmth, and support. The first picture shows the team at the GHBC rooftop for a quick practice before the parade of teams. The Tsunamis won the best team cheering presentation because of its Hawaii-Five-O dance, props for waves, a cool surfer on a skate board (walang surfboard eh), blue-shirt with matching leis attire, and most important, its effervescent charm. =)The Baddicts Intercolor Tourney was held on 3-4 September 2005 at the Greenhills Badminton Center (GHBC) with five teams, namely: Tsunamis, Typhoons, Tornadoes, Volcanoes, and Earthquakes. I salute the executive committee and club officers, organizing committees, volunteers, linesmen, umpires, and sponsors for their hard work and generosity. Galing talaga! I've never had so much fun in a tournament before and am looking forward to next year's event. Should you wish to become a Baddicts member, just visit www.baddicts.com.
